Onsite HR Services Team Leader

Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization

This is a team leader position, who will be leading the Onsite HR Services Team members in Shanghai and Suzhou, to provide the services as below:

  • Onboarding and offboarding checklist facilitation
  • Documents collection and dispatch
  • Chop & Authorized Signature follow up
  • Payroll sign off follow up
  • P-file hardcopy management
  • Liaison with tax, bank, agency and any other external related parties
  • Courier & mailing
  • Other ad-hoc request per business needs

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations:
  • Ensure the completion of all administrative tasks of the defined services and achieve the SLA requirements;
  • Ensure the process related documents are set up, updated and reviewed regularly and properly;
  • Identify the process risks and implement the preventive actions on a timely manner;
  • Ensure operation compliance with legal requirements and internal policies;
  • Support the E2E process in the resolution of difficult questions in the day to day operations;
  • Liaise among local HR, GBS HR and employees to ensure smooth communication & prompt resolution of all requests;
  • Proactively drive the process improvement to achieve employee satisfaction and higher efficiency;

 

  • Team Management:
  • Assess team skills and build team capability for daily operation excellence on a regular basis;
  • Effectively manage, motivate, and engage the team;
  • Exchange the knowledge with offshore team timely and regularly;
  • Ensure accurate and timely operation reporting for the team.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications, especially PowerPoint;
  • Experience with business computing solutions, ideally also with SAP-HR;
  • Strong mindset in process improvement and continuous efficiency;
  • Attention to details and good problem-solving skills;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage, coach and develop the team;
  • Basic understanding of project management;
  • Familiarity with the relevant industry is an advantage;
  • International mindset.

 

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications

Professional Background / Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience in a similar function for a multi-national company
  • 2+ years of team management experience

Education

Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience

Regional Knowledge

Best knowledge of China business needs, company policy, local labor law and HR regulations

Language Skills

Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese
